It was an awesome weekend at the Brazilian National Championship, held in Barueri (Brazil). After three great matches, professor Natasha Quiza de Almeida secured the gold medal after submitting her opponent in the finals with a triangle choke. Brazilian Nationals is hosted by CBJJ/IBJJF, and is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world.

I visited this academy on a work trip and was looking for a place to stay active while on the road. They were very inviting and friendly. The students were all very welcoming and the rolls were friendly, yet with sound training and I could tell this was a solid academy with great instructors. I hope to be back on my next visit and encourage anyone to try this place out if you are in the area.
