Returning back to your BJJ training during the pandemic
We all ask ourselves the same question: “When is it safe to come back”? Returning back to your BJJ training can be just as scary as returning to train after an injury has healed; you will always initially have some level of fear and caution, but once you return slowly, the fear begins to dissipate and the confidence to resume training returns. All students who return to train have signed a new special waiver which audits the individual to ensure the person has no symptoms; has not traveled outside the U.S. or within the U.S. without quarantining, and other important prerequisites needed to return. The academy has taken extra precaution to professionally sanitize the academy with oxidizing base treatment, decon five fogging application, and reapplication of the natural biome. Along with that, the academy has upgraded all cleaning products to EPA registered labels that work proactively 24/7 to kill bacteria and viruses including the COVID-19. Zoom classes are still offered simultaneously with all classes to give those who still want to stay home, or who are quarantining training from the comfort of their home. All spectators during class have been removed, and now must wait outside the facility. If students travel, feel or show any symptoms, etc… they are asked to stay home and quarantine for two weeks to ensure the safety of others. As a family, we are all working together to make sure we provide a safe atmosphere to return to training and patiently help our students feel comfortable to return to their training at their own pace.
