It was a hit in our summer camp the last few years, and now we are bringing this our students, and non-students!

Learning a foreign language is a blessing and a very valuable asset to have, not only for your career, but for expanding your cultural experiences. PBGMA will focus on teaching Portuguese for various purposes which include: Portuguese for Jiu-Jitsu; Conversational; Reading and Writing; Business; and much more. Classes will be offered to children and adults, and can be 1 on 1 or in small group settings.

Learning a new language is extremely beneficial. It boosts brain power, improves memory, enhances your ability to multi-task, sharpens your mind, enhances decision making, improves your first language, improves communication, improves performance in academic areas; networking and career choices!

We welcome anyone to participate and learn.

The entire staff truly makes you and your child feel as if you are one of their family members. My son has become more confident and respectful with the morals and values they instill in them. PBGMA is my home away from home. I am not a member, but I often travel to the area and train here whenever I am in town. From day 1, Igor and Natasha have been extremely warm and welcoming and treated me as one of their own. Their leadership shows in their students, as you will receive the treatment from them as well. Igor and Natasha have created an incredible community in their school centered around respect, discipline, hard work, and devotion to the development of their members on and off the mat. If you step on their mats, you will experience camaraderie through some hard training sessions and probably a few good laughs as well. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a trial class. You won't be disappointed.

A few years ago I walked into the gym looking for a fun way to get into better physical shape and learn some self-defense techniques. While I certainly found those things, I couldn’t have imagined everything else that was waiting for me: challenges, friendships, guidance, rewards. Igor and Natasha pour themselves into their students, giving so much of themselves every single day. They’ve also created an atmosphere where everyone can learn together safely. After I fell in love with jiu jitsu, I knew I had to bring with wife and two kids to try it out with me. PBGMA’s wide variety of programs and class times makes it possible for my kindergartner, my teenager, and my wife to train too. I’m very grateful my family found this wonderful place to learn and grow together. Edit (12/23): If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. Igor and Natasha have built something truly special at PBGMA — they and my teammates are my family, not just teachers and training partners. I’m more grateful for them than I can put into words.
